One week following the holiday party for The Little Potato Company’s staff, the holiday party for the kids was held at the Best Western Westwood Inn for approximately 110 children and 90 adults.

With a wide range of ages, from infants to 17 year olds, it was important to have entertainment and activities for all ages, including the parents! For the overall look and feel of the event, it was important to create an environment and look that was exciting and engaging for all of the kids. Holiday candles placed out on the tables filled the room with a sentimental, festive, warm vibe.

Entertainment included:

– a festive entranceway greeted guests as they walked up to the banquet room
– a festive vignette for Santa
– crafts and coloring for the little spuds
– crafts and games for the older spuds
– science experiments for all ages (one experiment used potatoes)
– magic show, with tricks that included potatoes
– Santa to hand out gifts to each child
– food and beverages
– Giant Stocking Wall with a stocking for each one of the kids
