Objective:<\/strong> The President\u2019s Award of Excellence is a prestigious award given to the top 1% of employees that work at Servus Credit Union. They are nominated and voted on based on their performance, and efforts made within the organization. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This weekend needed to feel elevated from previous years and include noticeable details that enhanced the experience of attendees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The main goal of this year\u2019s event was to ensure guests felt accommodated for the duration of their stay, inspired, recognized and appreciated. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Outcome:<\/strong> In total, 23 recipients and their guests attended the event, along with several members of the Executive Leadership team and the CEO. The event took place at the Banff Springs Hotel and included a program of activities such as golf and spa services, a reception on the first night and the main gala dinner on the second night. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gifts were curated for all recipients.  The gifts were based around the theme of a \u2018picnic\u2019, which allowed guests to take in nature of their surroundings, but also utilize back at home. When recipients were notified and presented with their certificate, they also received a branded picnic blanket, which included a small note:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The mountains are calling!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On May 26th, adventure and celebration awaits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Remember to pack your picnic blanket for your weekend away. You\u2019ll need it for the other half of this two-part gift!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Part two of the gifts were dropped in each recipient\u2019s room prior to check in. The gifts consisted of a branded cooler bag, stemless branded wine glasses, wine of their choice, a jar of tapenade, a selection of cheeses and artisanal chips. A small note was also included:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Saturday night, a gala dinner was held in the recipients\u2019 honor, which consisted of a champagne reception, a string quartet, a three-course dinner, a keynote speaker and group photos. An award was placed out at each recipient’s place setting. The awards were curated for this event and were a beautiful, locally-made glass ornament in the shape of a mountain with a name plate including the Servus logo. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Overall, guests enjoyed all of the amenities that the hotel and city of Banff provided! Let\u2019s see where we\u2019re off to next year \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n
