Objective: CASA Mental Health’s annual Professional Development Day serves to educate and engage their staff and partners throughout a day of learning and workshops. Tycoon was hired to support the CASA staff in planning and facilitating their Professional Development Day for over 200 attendees.
Outcome: The event was based on the theme, Ubuntu: I am because we are! It started with a light breakfast and a period of networking, followed by opening remarks and a smudging ceremony.
The morning programming included a keynote speaker as well as 7 concurrent sessions, taking place in various areas throughout the event space.
After lunch was served, the second round of concurrent sessions took place, again featuring 7 concurrent sessions. All of the sessions included interactive elements and encouraged discussion amongst participants.
