Objective: The President’s Award of Excellence is a prestigious award given to the top 1% of employees that work at Servus Credit Union. They are nominated and voted on based on their performance, and efforts made within the organization.
This weekend needed to feel elevated from previous years and include noticeable details that enhanced the experience of attendees.
The main goal of this year’s event was to ensure guests felt accommodated for the duration of their stay, inspired, recognized and appreciated.
Outcome: In total, 23 recipients and their guests attended the event, along with several members of the Executive Leadership team and the CEO. The event took place at the Banff Springs Hotel and included a program of activities such as golf and spa services, a reception on the first night and the main gala dinner on the second night.
Gifts were curated for all recipients. The gifts were based around the theme of a ‘picnic’, which allowed guests to take in nature of their surroundings, but also utilize back at home. When recipients were notified and presented with their certificate, they also received a branded picnic blanket, which included a small note:
The mountains are calling!
On May 26th, adventure and celebration awaits.
Remember to pack your picnic blanket for your weekend away. You’ll need it for the other half of this two-part gift!
Part two of the gifts were dropped in each recipient’s room prior to check in. The gifts consisted of a branded cooler bag, stemless branded wine glasses, wine of their choice, a jar of tapenade, a selection of cheeses and artisanal chips. A small note was also included:
This weekend is all about you!
We appreciate your hard work, dedication and commitment. Congratulations on your incredible success.
Here’s to a fantastic weekend and celebrating this incredible milestone together.
On Saturday night, a gala dinner was held in the recipients’ honor, which consisted of a champagne reception, a string quartet, a three-course dinner, a keynote speaker and group photos. An award was placed out at each recipient’s place setting. The awards were curated for this event and were a beautiful, locally-made glass ornament in the shape of a mountain with a name plate including the Servus logo.
Overall, guests enjoyed all of the amenities that the hotel and city of Banff provided! Let’s see where we’re off to next year 🙂
