Events Industry Council Preferred Provider
If you’re an event professional interested in continuing education, this section is for you! Tycoon Events is an approved Events Industry Council (EIC) Preferred Provider, meaning that we offer continuing education that aligns with the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) International Standards.
To apply or recertify for the CMP designation, professionals must participate in at least 25 hours of continuing education activities. As a Preferred Provider, we have the ability to provide anyone who reads our educational material with educational credits and a streamlined process to track CMP CE hours! Our Event Trends Report is listed as a continuing education course, and qualifies for 1.0 continuing education credits. Learn more here.
The goal of the Preferred Provider Program is to ensure CMP professionals have access to a variety of quality continuing education opportunities. Becoming a Preferred Provider aligns with our commitment to providing education to event professionals, both new and experienced!
International Live Events Association (ILEA)
As members of ILEA, we are part of the global association for event industry professionals that is focused on promoting creativity, inspiration, teamwork, education and relationships. We are proud to work closely with the Edmonton chapter.

Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA)
PCMA is the world’s largest and most recognized network of business event strategists. They provide continuing education and support the event industry through research and charitable giving. The PCMA Foundation funds scholarships for students, faculty and other professionals, and recognizes industry accomplishments at the annual Visionary Awards.

Canadian Society of Professional Event Planners (CANSPEP)
