This was CASA’s third annual professional development day and supported CASA’s commitment to truth and reconciliation. The day’s educational programming expanded attendees’ knowledge base, provided valuable insight and challenged perspectives. The event took place at the Enoch Cree Nation Cultural Grounds.
This year’s theme, Gathering Our Spirit, focused on the four aspects of the Medicine Wheel traditional to many Indigenous tribes: spiritual, emotional, physical and mental. The focus reminded attendees of the interconnectedness shared among the four aspects.
The event has 292 attendees and 17 speakers.
This land-based event took place outdoors. Workshops took place under an arbour, in tipis or tented areas.
