Objective: The Global News Woman of Vision program, written and produced by Lesley MacDonald, celebrates the accomplishments of 12 outstanding Edmonton area women each year. This annual awards event pays tribute to the 12 “Heroes and Visionaries”, including one Lifetime Achievement Award recipient. Bursaries and scholarships are also awarded to help young women realize their vision. The celebration event is the highlight of the Woman of Vision program.
Outcomes: Over 800 excited guests were lead to the main entrance into the event. Men and women alike were treated to event reception activations. Until we next see these inspired guests at the next event, they embrace the resounding message to be bold, be brave, be strong, be happy, be free, be silly, be original, and to truly be themselves!
