On Tuesday, January 29th, 2019 Syngenta Canada hosted their annual Customer Appreciation Event at CRAFT Beer Market for 150 guests.

This year’s theme was based around Syngenta’s current Raglone Ion campaign and corresponding promotional vacation getaway package contest.

Our key activation areas included:

• The main entrance and registration area
• The main stage
• The learning and interactive stations
• The bar and food area

Main Entrance and Registration Area
With the campaign’s imagery and messaging being aligned with vacationing and sandy beaches, we set the tone for guests that they have finally arrived at their tropical destination – “Syngenta’s Seaside Tiki Bar”.

The main registration table was dressed up with a tiki hut, props, and lighting to create a first impression that guests have officially arrived and can get into vacation mode.

Stage
The stage was used for times when bringing greetings, providing updates, and for announcing the contest winners.

Learning Stations
• Station #1: Reglone Ion on Canola (colour: yellow)
• Station #2: Seedcare/Partner Program (colour: green)
• Station #3: Trivapro (colour: red)

Each of the three learning stations were set against the wall of the upper mezzanine on the main floor. Custom-made surf boards were made to attach each station’s corresponding sign to. A unique and on-theme approach and creative use versus traditional easels.

Each station was given a stamp (the color to be based on the corresponding color of that station). The reps were to stamp guests’ passports as they visited each station.

Bar and Food Set Up
We connected the tiki bar theme by dressing the bar up with more staging accent pieces. The food was set along the length of the bar.

Passport Contest and Prizes
Passports for the contest were handed out as guests arrived and checked in at the event. Additional copies were set out at each one of the Learning Stations should any guests have missed picking one up earlier.

At each Learning Station, reps were given a custom made tiki-style stamp and stamp pad corresponding to their station’s color.

Once guests received all three stamps, they submitted their ballot into the entry box located along the elongated edge on the side wall of the space. At 8:30 pm, the Emcee pulled the completed passport(s) from the entry boxes to announce the winner(s) of the contest.

Lighting
The Syngenta and Raglone Ion gobos were projected around the room to help frame in the space. Thematic uplighting was also added to the area!

Music
A curated beach/surf-style playlist playing throughout the space during the event.

Miscellaneous
Tropical scents were infused into the air at several key areas.

Tropical hand soap, lotions, and candles were placed in the bathrooms to ensure that the theme was carried throughout all spaces.
